Some previous subsections have been changed to stand-alone chapters due to their increasing relevance. Examples include Japanese Encephalitis, West Nile Virus Disease, Rift Valley Fever, Rotavirus Infection, Norovirus Infection, SARS, MERS, and other Coronavirus infections. Other chapters have been merged, reorganized or renamed. Cancers linked to communicable diseases have now been included in the chapter with the relevant infection.
